Website design and build in Ioannina
Websites for businesses and professionals: fast on a phone, built for Google to read properly, with your phone, Viber and contact form one tap away.

What you get
A website for your shop, office or practice, built to do three things: visitors see straight away how to call you, message you or book an appointment, Google can read what you do and where you are, and the pages open fast on a phone. If visitors from abroad find you too, it speaks English as well.
- Phone, Viber and WhatsApp in one tap. On a phone, a call button stays fixed in the corner of the screen, as it does on this site.
- A contact form that reaches your inbox, with spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is writing, not a program.
- Online booking, if you need it. Komvos Connect, the booking system I built, goes onto your page: the visitor picks a service, a day and a time and gets an email confirmation, and anything already taken in your Google or Outlook calendar does not show as free.
- Fast pages, with no WordPress to keep updated. I build with Astro, which prepares every page in advance, so the visitor downloads a ready-made file.
- Structured data for Google that says what kind of business you are (dentist, medical practice, professional office, restaurant, beauty salon or another local business), with your phone number, address and opening hours. I also submit the sitemap to Google Search Console, so Google can find all your pages.
- Greek and, if you want, English, page for page. An automated check fails if a text is missing from one of the languages, so no half-translations are left behind.
- Share image and icon: the picture that appears when someone sends a link to your site, and the site’s icon in the browser tab and on a phone’s home screen.
- Cookies with consent. Visitor statistics (Google Analytics) load only once the visitor accepts them. On this site they also show which pages bring in enquiries.
- Display preferences: a button that lets visitors enlarge the text, change the contrast or reduce motion, as on this site.
Websites I have built
All of them are live. The first six are built on the same technical base, which I maintain, so every new site starts from something that already works.
- esupport-ioannina.gr: a private citizen-services bureau in Ioannina, in Greek and English. Its 12 service categories are written in the words people search for, such as “pension” and “benefit”, and visitors ask their question through the form instead of phoning. I was the only developer, from the first designs to the domain (case study).
- drkolettis.gr: a dental surgeon in Ioannina, with a photo gallery and opening hours that show the morning and the afternoon separately.
- logotherapia-ioannina.gr: a speech therapy clinic in Ioannina, built on the plain base with nothing added, so it shows what a business gets from the start.
- komvosygeias.gr: Komvos Ygeias (Κόμβος Υγείας), home healthcare in Ioannina, where I have been lead developer since its founding. Job candidates send their CV straight from the site.
- 3dsmiles.gr: digital dentistry, in Greek and English, with seminars and articles.
- papadoliopoulou.gr: a breast surgeon, with 12 educational articles and physician structured data for Google.
- 40roomors.com: tufting and textile arts, with a content management system (CMS) I wrote from scratch.
For medical practices and clinics, see websites for medical practices.
How we work
- We talk about what you need. Write to me through the contact form, call me, send a Viber or WhatsApp message, or book a call in the calendar. I reply within 1-2 working days, and you will hear back from me, not from a subcontractor.
- I send you a written proposal with what will be built and when, before you commit.
- I build the site and you see the progress along the way, not only at the end. At every step you know what I need from you and what comes next. I send you a link to the work-in-progress version, where you leave comments on the page itself, at the spot you mean. See how we work.
- The site goes live on your own domain once it passes automated checks (on esupport-ioannina.gr: dead links, the form, how it looks on a phone).
- I stay available after launch. If you want, I keep looking after it.
What you own
The domain, the content and the code are yours, and you can take them with you whenever you want. The texts are plain files inside the code, in each language, so a new service is a new file. Software you own, built to last.
Worth knowing: the contact form goes through the forms service I run myself, and Komvos Connect, if you add it, runs on my own server.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to build a website?
In a couple of days, once your texts, photos and logo are ready. If something is missing, I guide you through every step of what is needed. The exact timeline goes into the written proposal.
Will I show up on Google?
The site is built so that Google can read it properly. I do not promise a position in the results, though, because Google decides that.
Do I need an English version?
No, the site can be in Greek only. If you have customers from abroad, though, it is better to have English from the start, as esupport-ioannina.gr and 3dsmiles.gr do.
My business is not in Ioannina. Can we work together?
Yes. I am based in Ioannina, but I also work remotely with businesses across Greece, by phone, Viber or video call.
